Dr. Alexandra Sacks M.D.
Alexandra Sacks, MD is a reproductive psychiatrist affiliated with the Women’s Program at the Columbia University Medical Center and a candidate at the Columbia University Psychoanalytic Center for Training and Research. A leading expert in “matrescence,” she is known for popularizing the concept in her TED talk with over 1.5 million views worldwide, and in her New York Times article “The Birth of a Mother,” the number one most read piece of 2017 for the “Well Family” section, where she is a regular contributor. Dr. Sacks was a scholar at the DeWitt Wallace Institute for the History of Psychiatry and serves on The American Psychoanalytic Association advisory board for media education and the advisory board for Parents magazine. Her work on matrescence and “mommy brain” has been featured in TIME, NPR, The Washington Post, and The Boston Globe. Dr. Sacks is developing a motherhood podcast with Gimlet Media. Her first coauthored book What No One Tells You: A Guide to Your Emotions From Pregnancy to Motherhood will be published on April 23, 2019 by Simon and Schuster.

She is author of the Thurber Prize-nominated book How to Make White People Laugh and host of the podcast Fake the Nation on the Earwolf network. Alyce performs all over North America and major clubs, including the the Comedy Mix (Vancouver), Comedy Cellar, Caroline's, Stand Up NY, Q.E. D (Queens) and the Knitting Factory (Brooklyn). She produces and hosts the only parent/baby comedy show in NYC, called BYOB (Bring Your Own Baby). Alyce hosts a comedy show called The Ex-Files in Greenpoint, Brooklyn which showcases the funniest comedians in the circuit talking about their ex-spouses and reliving it on stage. Most recently, Alyce was a guest on renowned comedian and journalist Pat Dixon's New York City Crime Report. Alyce is also the resident comedian for a remarkable all-women retreat, Renew Breakup Bootcamp, which has been featured in Vogue, New York Times and Good Morning America.
Julie is a New York based comedian who can be seen
on the very popular web series, Madge the Vag as Madge and behind the scenes as a cowriter. Julie has been featured on Fox's Laugh's TV. Her solo show, Does This Dress Make Me Look Alone? was in the New York International Festival 2014. Julie was a finalist in the She Devil Comedy Festival 2017 and released her first comedy album, Tiny Roommate, in May of 2018. Julie's comedy comes from the perspective of a solo mom, giving a dark and edgy view on motherhood.
LaTice is a comedian from South Jersey and travels city to city bringing her unique style of comedy to any audience. She has been doing stand up comedy since January 2009 and has had quite the career in such a short period of time. From performing in Las Vegas for the World Series of Comedy, performing LIVE on ABC's THE VIEW for "Hilarious Housewives", along with being picked by the late great David Brenner himself to tour in his "COMEDY STARS OF TOMORROW", where she performed at the Valley Forge Casino in Pennsylvania on a four night tour.
Dava is a Writer, Producer and Performer of (mostly) funny sh#*. Her television scripts have placed at the Austin Film Festival, Writers for Writers Program and Made in NY. She has written, produced and starred in three web series that have been featured on Indiewire, as part of the ITVF festival in LA and American Bear (yes, that American Bear) Online. Most recently, Dava wrote and produced a semi-autobiographical comedy pilot about motherhood and feminism called Baby Steps @babystepsshow. Dava performs all over New York.

Dr. Catherine Bindorf
Dr. Birndorf is Founding Director of the Payne Whitney Women's Program at the New York-Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell Medical Center, where she is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Obstetrics & Gynecology. Dr. Birndorf is a board member of Postpartum Support International, a non-profit organization for awareness, prevention and treatment of mental health issues related to childbearing worldwide. For 10 years, Dr. Birndorf was a regular mental health columnist for Self Magazine and has appeared on numerous television programs, including the The Today Show, Good Morning America, MSNBC, and CNN. Her first book, The Nine Rooms of Happiness, co-authored with Lucy Danziger, was published in 2010. She is the author, with Alexandra Sacks, of What No One Tells You.
Evelyn M. Rusli, is the co-founder and president of Yumi, a nutrition and wellness company for babies. Prior to co-founding Yumi, she spent more than a decade as a journalist and storyteller, previously on staff at the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times and Forbes covering startups and innovation. She was formerly an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Social Capital Partnership, a leading Palo Alto-based venture capital firm.
Evelyn graduated from Princeton University with a degree in English. She has served as a speaker and moderator at several business conferences and has made over a hundred televised appearances as an expert on technology and startups, with appearances on CNBC, MSNBC, CNN, Fox News, BBC and Bloomberg. She is also an angel investor in technology companies.
Ariane de Bonvoisin
Ariane de Bonvoisin is an author, speaker, change expert and entrepreneur. Her professional background spans The Boston Consulting Group, Bertelsmann, Sony, Time Warner, Charlie Rose in strategic and investment roles. She then started her own business, The First 30 Days on helping people through life changes. She was educated at The London School of Economics and received her MBA at Stanford.
She is the author of several books on the subject of change, pursuing your dreams and health and also recently launched an app, Mindful365, helping people to be spiritual in the midst of their busy lives.
Her most recent work is in the area of conscious parenting and life skills for kids. She launched a trilogy of books: Giggles and Joy, Spiritual Life Lessons for Kids. She also has a TED talk on life skills we must be teaching our kids which is now available to watch online.
She is a frequent speaker and coach on the subjects of change, spiritual parenting, mindfulness and conscious business and women in the workplace.
She lives in New York City with her husband Alfie and son Everest.
Stefanie Tocco is a teacher, speaker and thought-leader on topics related to the mind and spiritual journey, and specializes in working with organizations, schools, parents and individuals interested in awareness and mindfulness training. She uses meditation and mind training as tools to encourage self-understanding, deepen interpersonal relationships, and encourage social impact. She has had the opportunity to gain insight into the mindsets of a wide variety of individuals through her work with HSBC, IPG Media Brands, Avenues World School, Teach For All, NYC Department of Education School System, Bija Kids, and The Light & Leadership Initiative.
Stefanie founded Internal Beings to socialize mind and spiritual intelligence training by offering programs, workshops, resources and a develop a community of practice.
Stefanie’s journey began as a student of the Vipassana Meditation tradition, but is also influenced by ongoing study across neuroscience, eastern philosophy, emotional and spiritual intelligence competencies, subconscious mind-training, mindfulness, positive mindset and happiness. She is trained in and influenced by Tara Brach, Jack Kornfield, Jon Kabat Zinn, Silva Life System and Baron Baptiste, and has a BA and MA in International Relations. However, her most humbling teachers are her kids and the journey of being a parent.
Jancee Dunn is a journalist, author and former veejay. She is currently a contributing editor at O, The Oprah Magazine. She also writes for a number of publications including Vogue, The New York Times, Parents, and many others. In her most recent book, How Not To Hate Your Husband After Kids, which was a result of her personal efforts to improve her marriage after having a child, Dunn uses candid and humorous writing style to share her findings from the countless therapist, relationship experts and even FBI crisis negotiators. Dunn was also a staff writer at Rolling Stone for over a decade.
Dr. Melissa Robinson Brown
Dr Robinson-Brown earned her Ph.D. in clinical psychology, with a child and family subspecialty, from Loyola University in Chicago. She has worked at major hospitals in NYC, including Bellevue, NYU, New York Presbyterian/Columbia and currently at Mount Sinai as an Assistant Clinical Professor and maintains a supervisory role in the Psychology Training Program. Alongside her impressive resume, she is passionate about empowering women to feel fierce and confident in their chosen professional life whilst building and maintaining meaningful personal relationships. As the founder and owner of Renewed Focus Psychology Services, She prides herself as an empowerment enabler, a self-acceptance guide and a mind body connector.
Sara Lyon founded Glow Birth & Body in 2010 as a childbirth educator, doula and massage therapist. Glow's mission is empowering more women to feel good in their bodies during pregnancy and have the support they need to achieve a fulfilling, non-traumatic birth experience. Nearly 10,000 clients later, Glow continues to thrive as the preeminent prenatal massage source in the Bay Area. Sara’s newest project, The Birth Deck, is a compilation of the 50 most effective labor comfort techniques housed in a giant deck of cards and mobile app. Based in New York City, Sara, her two kids and her husband split their time with the beautiful Bay Area.
Nerissa Holder Hall
Nerissa Holder Hall is the founder of Mirror Mirror Books, a start-up that will help parents introduce childhood milestones like potty training, doctors visits and the first day of preschool with storybooks featuring illustrations customized to look just like their unique modern families.
Nerissa is currently working with WNET to develop an preschool television series that encourages kids to explore the great outdoors. She got her start working in production at Nickelodeon. After completing her graduate work at Teachers College, Columbia University, Nerissa launched a social network for teen girls called CleverHive. In addition to consulting on numerous children’s properties, she served as a producer and director of marketing and outreach at Callaway Digital Arts, a leading developer of mobile apps. She has a degree in English from Wellesley College. Nerissa and her husband are raising their two-year-old twins in a high rise overlooking Fort Greene Park in Brooklyn, New York. They love escaping the city streets to the oasis that is the Pratt sculpture garden and riding the horses at Jane’s Carousel down by the East River.
